(Fred Machetanz) Ohio State University Track & Field Memorabilia. Dated 1930. This very rare souvenir program was issued in 1930 for the track and field event called the "OHIO RELAYS". This event took place at "The Stadium" in Columbus, Ohio. There are vintage photos inside including one of OSU Stadium. But of interest to Alaskans is the fine Fred Machetanz color cover. Machetanz' illustrated Track & Field programs are exceedingly scarce, about 100 times rarer than his scarce OSU football programs. A very early Fred Machetanz item (I believe 1929 was his first football program). condition is good (better than the average program), with minor soiling and wear to the cover. $500.00 + $8 shipping and insurance.
