Alaska School Psychologists Association

 

 Save the Date: October 9-10, 2008. Ken Mueller, Ph.D. will be presenting at the ASPA Fall Conference on "Promoting Mental Health and Preventing Internalizing Problems: Social and Emotional Learning in the Schools". This training will provide an overview of depression, anxiety, and related internalizing problems, screening assessments, progress monitoring, school-based mental health service delivery and strategies for students. There will also be presentations on ethics and professional practices as well.

 

 

Purposes of ASPA

The purpose of this association shall be, through research and educational activities:

- To serve the mental heath and educational needs of all children and youth;

- To advance the standards of professional school psychology;

- To promote activity, the interest of school psychology

- To help secure the conditions necessary for the greatest effectiveness in its purpose and activities.
