Trail Etiquette:  1) When Skate skiing don't skate on the classical tracks.  2) Classical skiers if you need to herring bone up  a hill step out into the skate lane.  3) Skiing  backwards is dangerous to others but you also end up  skating  or herring boning  up the best line tracks on the downhill's. 4) Yield to the groomers step to the opposite side of the trail and stop.  5) If we are grooming a trail it helps to not ski on it until we are done, on some of the trails to save time we may make a pass backwards.  6) If we are regrooming a trail it helps not to ski the old tracks back in, generally with in an hour we will have set new tracks.

When you ski off the trails into the woods and go to a road or snowmachine trail your tracks become a magnet for the snowmachiner's they will follow your tracks back to the groomed ski trail.

Please keep checking here and on the clubs web site throughout the summer of opportunities to help with  trail improvement projects.  See you next fall.
