Calypso Farm and Ecology Center is a non-profit, educational farm based in Ester, Alaska. We provide hands-on education to Fairbanks school children and community members through our education programs. Our diversified farm operates as a CSA to feed a number of local families through the growing season. This web site provides introductory information on all our programs, volunteer and membership opportunities, and our future plans.

Chena Hot Spring's vision is to become a self-sufficient community in terms of energy, food, heating and fuel use to the greatest extent possible.  To attain this goal, Chena is developing numerous renewable energy and sustainable development projects which are detailed in this website.  Chena is also forming partnerships within our community and across the U.S. to promote and implement renewable technologies.
