Trash-a-thon 2004

Trash-a-thon was the biggest and best yard raking marathon ever. Through the concerted efforts of the men and boys of Outpost 20 we set a record for yards done in 1 day. 21 yards had the leaves raked, the trash picked up or the grass mowed by our devoted crew of workers. The day began early and everyone was spent by the time pastor Fay and Mrs Aylshire brought some hamburgers and hot dogs for us to refuel on.. According to most of the commanders all that was left to do was a hot shower. Due to unforeseen technical difficulties the camera didn't catch everyone that went but their names are listed here. Stephan, Jon Arthur, Wesley, John, Wilson, Jacob, Josh, and Ben. Commanders lending them a hand were George, Peach, Tom, Kevin, Mark, Howard, Randy, and Chuck. Way to go guys!

Hey Everyone;
I just wanted to thank everybody who worked at the Trash-A-Thon. We did 40
yards with tons of trash in pickup trucks and nearly 500 bags of lawn debris
and all this in less than 2 weeks. That's lots of work but it sure is
rewarding. We can account for $1,600 dollars raised so far with a grand
total at the end of the month when all donations are in. Thanks again for
all your help.
Sincerely;
Chuck Niemann, Sr. Comdr.
