CHILDREN MINISTRIES
We highly value our children's ministry and the responsibilities God gives us to minister to them. We want to join with parents in helping them lay a solid spiritual foundation in their children's lives. We want to help them have a personal understanding of God's love and care for them; of Christ and His salvation; of God's daily help in their lives through prayer and the work of the Holy Spirit; and of God's Word, helping them to understand how it relates to their everyday lives both at home and school. We do this by creating an environment where they experience the love and friendship of their teachers and workers; by helping them learn to love and care for one another; and by Having Lots of Fun!
Our youth ministries crank it up another notch both in learning and having lots of fun! We focus on preparing students to develop personal ownership of their faith in Christ and their commitment to grow in their walk and service to God. We want to help our teens develop a meaningful working relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, that helps them maneuver through the daily struggles of their world, filled with turmoil, challenge and change. We want to provide a place where they experience support through the love and ministry of Godly leaders and their peers within the youth groups. We offer a great place for teens to build relationships with one another through a wide variety of fantastic activities, big events, week end trips; learning experiences, ministry and mission opportunities and more. Finally, we want to help our teens discover that God has a purpose and plan for their lives as they look beyond High School; challenging them to let God direct and bless their lives, their future decision, their vision of what they will spend their lives doing and how they will behave while doing it.
We are blessed with the addition of Ian Kenny to our church staff as the Youth Pastor working with a number of highly qualified youth workers. Feel free to contact Ian for information concerning our youth ministries by calling the church office at 243-2168.
