Membership
|
| Membership is open to anyone at least eighteen years of age who subscribes to the purposes set out in our by-laws. Annual dues for membership are $20 and include a monthly newsletter and the block of the month program. Additionally, a junior membership is available for those under eighteen with dues of $10 per year. For those wishing to receive our newsletter only, the charge is $7 per year.
All members in good standing are entitled to exhibit or sell quilted items in the annual show and have one vote in each matter submitted at meetings. A member must be present to vote. In January, the Annual Meeting is held, and new officers elected for the year. Current Board Members are listed below. These officers preside over the Guild for the following year.
The next meeting is at 1pm, November 9, 2008 at Kodiak's Bayside Firehall, and new members are always welcomed.
Members wear a hand-made Bear Paw name tag to meetings.
