A true Alaskan antique, over 100 years old.
This scene was taken from a very early photograph of Fairbanks titled "Fairbanks Alaska from across Chena River. July 25th 1905."
Part of that photograph is shown for comparison (the photograph is not included in this auction and is held by UAF archives).
5-1/2" wide. A few blemishes in the paint where the paint is lifting.
The back piece is entirely metal.
A rare piece! One of the earliest known souvenirs of Fairbanks.
