UAA for our program. Agenda items will include: introduction of
our new officers, committee chair assignments, payment of dues
and a discussion of programs and meeting locations
for the year. Parking at UAA will be free for this meeting as the new semester
has not begun.

Kato Haunga, a student
at UAA from Tonga (a country without a single library), is doing
a presentation
about her project to start a library in her home village. She has
collected thousands of books from donations and is working on arrangements
to ship them back to her country and obtain a building. |
