Welcome to Alaska Wilderness Arts & Taxidermy.  After serving the Alaskan community for over 33 years, a lot of taxidermist have come and gone trying to strike it rich.  All we ask is for you to stop by Charlie's studio, Alaska's Department of Fish & Game and the Sportsman's Warehouse located in Fairbanks to see a difference in what others say and what we we do. 

After serving proudly in the military for over 20 years, Charlie has served the Fairbanks, North Pole and surrounding communities for over 25 years longer than most taxidermist.  He specializes in mounting of Bear, Wolf and Big Game Rugs, all of the Alaskan Big Game Shoulder/3/4 Life-size and Life-size mounts, including Custom designed habitats, individually built for each mount to the desires of each customer.

 We additionally specialize in Big Game Salt/Freshwater Fish mounts along with 360 degree panorama mounts. Turnaround time for most standard Big Game Mounting and Custom Fish Mounting is about 10 months to one year, slightly more for special request mounting.   Trust us folks, most taxidermist in the Interior of Alaska will paint fish period. Charlie Livingston has been practicing taxidermy for over 40 years, creating the Wildlife Images

in taxidermy and his art both.  He is a 24 year military service veteran, with 3 tours in South Vietnam

and Southeast Asia during the war.  After his retirement, he returned to his love for the art of

taxidermy, settling first in Montana, then to his beloved Alaska and all of its great outdoors.

Charlie and his son Joshua, now 20 and some select friends, have harvested numerous quality trophies seen in his shop, the Department of Fish and Game, the Dining Facility at Eielson AFB and of recent Sportsman's Warehouse, which houses his best Bull Moose of 67".

CUSTOMERS: Our Taxidermy Work can be viewed at the local SPORTSMAN'S WAREHOUSE store located in Fairbanks, Alaska, each piece, Big Game and Fishes are each individually personalized by the store to indicate the origin of the work. Enjoy.
