Comments and Suggestions When two of the best contemporary haiku poets get together to do something...how could it not be a excellent as this endeavour? A superb addition to the haiku-lifestyle. I'm delighted. This already a beautiful haiku site and it's just the beginning. Alaska is one of my favorite states. It seems an ideal environment for haiku, especially since a great many of the people who live there love nature. Billie and Cindy, you're creating something very special here. I salute you and yell BRAVO! So nice to see your smiling faces. And the landscapes are spectacular, which of course is to be expected up there in the Land of the Midnight Sun. Nice job, ladies! This is a model site for small (!) organizations. You're off to a great start. Hopefully your site will help you find and inspire new haiku writers in Alaska. And I think they'll learn something, too -- that haiku isn't just anything forced into a 5-7-5 girdle. Just lovely and nicely informative. A very interesting website! The pictures are
beautiful. |
Dear Billie and Cindy: The new website is beautiful. I love the photos, the haiga, and,
above all, the grand sampling of your haiku. Your work is a credit to
haiku worldwide and a wonderful representation of magnificent Alaska.
Surely web exposure will attract other Alaskan poets to you and to
haiku. |
