CIVIL AIR PATROL UNIFORM MANUAL

CAPR 39-1, 1 July 1997, is supplemented as follows:

 

This publication applies to units and members of the Alaska Wing CAP.

 

6-4c. The Alaska Wing commander has approved the wear of Alaska Wing golf shirt as an optional summer

    time uniform. The Alaska Wing golf shirt is only to be worn by senior members during unit meetings and at

    Alaska Wing functions. Cadets are allowed to wear the Alaska Wing golf shirt during approved recreational

    events but not during unit meetings or other unit functions were a military style uniform is normally required.

    The Alaska Wing golf shirt is similar to the CAP golf shirt shown in figure 6-2 but is gray with short sleeves

    and the Alaska Wing Seal/Patch embroidered in color above the left breast pocket. A variation of the Alaska
