MISHAP REPORTING AND INVESTIGATION

 

CAPR 62-2, 8 November 2002, is supplemented as follows:

 

This publication applies to units and members of the Alaska Wing CAP.

 

Add the following:

 

4f. (Added) All Unit Commanders in Alaska Wing will ensure that any pilot acting as Pilot In Command (PIC) of any aircraft used in a CAP activity, that is involved in an accident/incident will notify the NTSB. The NTSB will be the determining entity as to whether the event constitutes an "incident" or an "accident". All other procedures contained in the regulation apply.
