MEMORANDUM FOR CAP/AK WING SQUADRONS

SUBJECT: Policy Letter No. 14 Attachment 1 Note 2 (IAW CAPR 173-3)

      Alaska Wing Aircraft Utilization Policy

 

ADDITION:  Use of Member Owned Single-engine Aircraft (MOA)

 

Aircraft shall be approved first by the Squadron Commander or his/her designee then by the Wing or Region Commander.  The Squadron Commander’s designee must be approved in writing by the Wing or Region Commander.

 

For A MOA to be utilized during Alaska Wing CAP activities, the following information must be on file at the Alaska Wing headquarters.

  1. Name of registered owner
  2. Registration of Aircraft (Tail number)
  3. Make and Model of aircraft
  4. Date Owner/Operator completed Form 5 in make and model (pilot must have a current from five in the make and model aircraft the approval is being requested)

 

Pilot/Owner must maintain Form 5 currency IAW with CAPR 60-1 and general currency IAW applicable FAR
