MEMORANDUM FOR ALASKA WING DO

SUBJECT: Alaska Wing Policy No. 28

                   Aircraft Maintenance Status Reporting

 

1.  This memorandum is in regards to aircraft requiring more than two weeks in the Lake Hood Maintenance Facility.

 

2.  From this date forward the DO will submit a written report to the Wing CC listing all aircraft located at the Maintenance Facility for maintenance.  The report will show the dates the aircraft arrived and left the facility and will require a explanation/ justification in writing of any aircraft in for maintenance for a period over two (2) weeks.

 

3. Under no circumstances is this policy to be construed as a permission to release an aircraft to service in less than 100% condition. Nor is this policy to be construed as a pressure to do the same. It is well understood that circumstances and / or aircraft repairs may result in a protracted time period at the maintenance facility.

 

 


4. There shall be no deviation from this policy without the prior written permission of the Wing Commander or his designee.
