Martin HALTY; born 1809 at Alsace, France; married Magdalena SEBASTIAN; died 5 Aug 1879 at Centralia, IA; buried at Peosta, IA. He was Farmer. He Arrived in the US in 1847 with wife and several of their children.

v. Mary HALTY, born 3 Aug 1852 at Centralia, IA; married Joseph KELLER.

vi. John HALTY; born 17 Jun 1854 at Centralia, IA; died 2 Feb 1927 at age 72; buried at Centralia, IA. He Never married.

vii. Martin HALTY; born 1857 at Centralia, IA.

Mary HALTY born 3 Aug 1852 at Centralia, IA; married Joseph KELLER, son of Martin KELLER and Bridget WEIKENHAUSER, 2 May 1873 at Lattnerville, IA; died 14 Dec 1918 at Boyden, Sioux, IA, at age 66; buried at St Joseph's Cemetary, Farley, IA. Mary died in Boyden, IA. She had gone there to nurse her daughter, Anna's family who had Spanish Influenza. She contracted lobar pneumonia and died five days later.
