During the "A Salute to Seniors" event at the Anchorage Senior Activity Center, Mr. Danny Glover along with Mayor Dan Sullivan were invited to dance by the Masingka Dancers. The event was held September 1, 2009 as a fundraiser for the programs and services offered by the Center to local Seniors in cooperation with the Mayor's Office of Equal Opportunity. The event was also considered a kick-off for the Municipality's Diversity Month celebration. |
