Maurice and Audrey have been deeply involved in a wide range of Christian service since 1980.
Maurice was the Assistant Pastor at Faith Fellowship in Eagle River, Alaska
from 1990 through 1995. After this full service was given to starting a new church in Anchorage,
AK. He has served as a Small Group Leader, Sunday school teacher, Secretary/Treasure,
implemented usher ministries and nurseries. He has also worked in the jail ministry as
senior minister, preaching, teaching and visiting as needed. Maurice worked in this
capacity from 1984 - 1987. In 1987 Maurice implemented a hospital ministry holding services
weekly, visiting, teaching bible studies and holding special services as needed. The hospital
allowed Maurice to develop cross-cultural communication skills being he was working with
the Alaska natives. The hospital ministry was also used as a training ground for other
Christians to practice their faith. Maurice is a Bi-Vocational minister. He has worked in
information systems since 1976 and is a mainframe and PC programmer. Currently he is a
computer programmer/analyst for the Department of Revenue, State of Alaska. He has gained
considerable experience in project and people management as a information system professional,
pastor, assistant pastor and through other positions he has held in the ministry.
In addition to starting a church, Pastor Ebarb has served as the Alaska-Yukon District
Paper Editor, Home Missions Secretary for the Alaska-Yukon District,
UPCI and the South Central Region Presbyter. After much thought and consideration Pastor
Ebarb did not let his name run for any district positions starting in 2005 due to other
matters he needs to take care
of and spend time working in Anchorage Pentecostal Tabernacle.
He will be available for other less demanding task as needed by the district.
