Volunteers and Team Leaders,

Where did the last year go?  Wrestling Season is here again! 

I know many of you are busy this time of year and need to secure venues for your Freestyle and Greco Events, so once again we are going to schedule a meeting just for that purpose.  2010 Sanctioned clubs of Alaska USA Wrestling can request to host a tournament, club sanctioning is available online. If you are not able to attend the meeting, either via tele-conference or in person, please email me the dates that you have available, and we will act on your behalf to add your event to the schedule.  Please make sure that if you send more than one date that you place them in order of preference.

I plan on scheduling the Annual Board and General Membership Meeting after the High School Wrestling Season, and after the Holidays.  This will give everyone a little extra time to prepare their reports and to think of ways to improve our organization.  I would also like to encourage any of you that are interested in becoming a Board member to consider running for a position, or possibly filling a vacant position.  We would welcome any of you that would like to contribute to the Board for the betterment of our organization…….we can always use more help!

The scheduling meeting will be on October 12, 2009 at 6:30 pm and held at: Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union, 1020 S. Bailey Palmer in the second floor conference room.

Instructions for Pre-Registration

Go to www.trackwrestling.com, select Alaska in the drop down box for state, then click the go button at the top of the page next to "Quick Search". You can then select the tournament you wish to register for and then click the enter button on the lower right side of the screen.

You can also use this same method to view the results of the tournaments. Any questions, please email Ed Gravley.
