Found dog -- seems to be a chesapeake mix, male, not neutered, blue collar, and has some kind of injury to the ear.  Been with these folks since about the 1st.  Call 3854 to claim.

Scouting for food takes place Saturday morning.  Cub scouts will go door to door accepting canned goods.  Please give genrously, as this drive provides a lot of the food use to help those in need over the holidays. If you have any questions call 4530.

The music departments fall shipment of potatoes and apples can be picked up Saturday from 10 a.m. To 5 p.m. at Samson Tug and Barge.

Reproductive Physiology of Ruff Sandpipers -- the sicence center and audobon program By Tawna Morgan, Tuesday,  7:00 at the Forest Service conference room upstairs.   Join Tawna from the PWS Science Center for an interesting Audubon program on the physiology of male Ruff sandpipers and their reproductive strategies.

The Salvation Army is accepting Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance applications. When applying, please Bring Proof of Residence, income and social security cards for all family members.  All information is kept confidential.  Please have all thankgiving applications in by Nov 10, and Christmas applications in by Dec 10.  Any questions please call 3134. We are also looking for volunteers for thanksgiving and christmas.

It's week 9 of the 24 week surivial kit prepardness program -- for each person, stock up this week 2 cans of ready to eat soup and a gallon of water, then pick up liquid dish soap, bleach and medicine dropper for water treatment, a box of heavy duty garbage bags with ties, and a bottle of antacid tablets.  And this weeks to do, test smoke dectors and replace batteries.  See the grocery stores for details.

Senior lunch is beef stir fry monday; schools serve bael and cream cheese for breafkast, pigs in a blanket for lunch.
