The cordova police department reminds us that there's no parking on main street and 2nd street weekday mornings between 6 and 9, because that's when the snow removal crews are doing their thing.  Keep an eye on the signs, and remember that your vehicle can get towed if it's parked where it shoulnd't be.  Thanks for your help.

City council meets monday, 7pm, in the library meeting room for a worksssion on the school district budget.

Village of Eyak tribal council meeting on the 24th at 6pm in the ilanka boardroom -- members are urged to attend.

time to be thinking about decorating those main street light poles for the holidays -- get your application at serindipitea starting today, and have your decorating done by the 2nd.  Decorations must be TASTEFUL, and holiday themed.  Prizes from the judging range from 25 to $100.  Let's make main street dazzle again this year.

The Salvation Army is accepting Christmas assistance applications. When applying, please Bring Proof of Residence, proof of income and social security cards for all family members.  All information is kept confidential.  Please have all applications in by Dec 10.  Any questions please call 3134.  And they are also looking for volunteers for thanksgiving and christmas.

It's week 11 of the 24 week surivial kit prepardness program -- stock up this week on 2 large cans of jiuce for each person, large plastic food bags, 2 boxes of high energy snacks, and 3 rolls of paper towels.  And this weeks to do's, take stock of your extra cellphone batteries, and be aware of any payphone locations.  See the grocery stores for details.

Senior lunch is spaghetti monday; schools serve waffle stix and sausage for breakfast, indian tacos for lunch.
