Here, we take Cordova Radio into the 21st Century -- offering
you on-demand webcasts of local programming you can't find
anywhere else.
-- Repeat-casts of programming that
ran live on KLAM or KCDV
-- Web-only-casts of programming not
heard on the radio
Be sure to scroll down to see what's available, as well as other programming that's been suggested, but still needs sponsorship.
If a program still needs sponsors, you'll find a description, the progress so far on pledges, and links for questions or pledging.
If a program already has its sponsorship, then you'll see the description, a link to hear the webcast, and another link for questions or tech support.
Scroll on down -- and thanks for stopping by!
MAKING SUGGESTIONS
On the radio we like to include as much programming by request as possible, but there are only two stations, and only so many hours in the day. But here in the Webcast Center, we can offer much more. So feel free to make requests, and we'll see what can be done.
Examples might include: delayed webcasts of Wolverine Basketball games, council meetings, local church services, local speeches, concerts, presentations, other meetings, other sporting events, re-casts of Town Meeting Talk shows, re-casts of special seasonal programming, and so forth.
Also, we can webcast audio that might not necessarily be right/ready for radio, but could certainly find an outlet here.
Examples of this option could include: someone's
garage band recording, a child reading poetry or singing a song so the
community can hear it, a citizen's verbal opinions about a particular subject.
-- NOTE:
audio that began as a webcast could possibly end up on the air eventually
(with permission of course) depending on its level of response!!!
The bottom line is that if the audio can be recorded, is not copyrighted or indecent, and has the necessary sponsorship, it can be posted here for any and all to hear.
To make a suggestion (with or without a pledge), or get
additional details, email webcast@cordovaradio.com,

for more contact information.
Program sponsorship makes our webcasts possible -- so if you want a chance to hear a program that hasn't met its minimum yet, be sure to click the pledge thermometer for the program and offer your support so we can make it happen.
NOTE: THESE CAN BE POSTED AT ANY TIME -- THEY ARE DELAYED RECORDINGS (LIKE PODCASTS), NOT LIVE FEEDS -- SO FEEL FREE TO PLEDGE ANY ITEM YOU'D LIKE TO HEAR (EVEN DAYS LATER)
Other Items:
-- Pledges are NOT PER USE FEES --
they
are simply the minimum amount of support needed to post the program.
Once it's posted, it's free for everyone to listen as much as they want.
-- No one business, organization,
or individual has to pledge the entire amount. It can be a sole sponsorship
OR combination of multiple sponsors.
-- Business sponsors who pledge the
full amount are entitled to logo representation on this page (i.e. your
logo will be the link that starts the webcast)
-- No one will
be billed for pledges unless the total minimum amount has been met
and the webcast is actually scheduled for play.
