Campaign Notes:

The majority of the group of adventures (Krull, Lochinvar, Rurik, and Za'Rin) were hired by the town of Riverside to end the raiding 
of some goblins of their town.  We traced them back to cave complex outside of town.  After several false starts, we recruited one of 
the more adventurous priest of Pelor, Loran, in town to go with us. 

We managaed to clear out the goblins, a small party of kobolds and large spider.  We then discovered the crypts and a temple to 
Moradin. From the temple a secret passage was found, which lead away and sloped down.

We returned to Riverside, and told them we completed the mission that the goblins were gone. While restocking for our next expedition 
into the lower levels, we are joined by a local, Zoe, and yet another drifter, Jallarza.  The addition of Jallarza, caused a some flare 
in the tempers with Za'Rin when he discovered that she was a drow elf. An unsettled calm currently persists in the group though as 
they continue with their adventure.

Exploring the next level, we find a dwarven city.  The city which has filled with water to about thigh high, also is a dead city. 
Literally, dead walk the city.  We manage to drain nearly all the water (only 6" left), by opening a door.  We also have met the last 
of the advenutures to join us, Sy'Rel, another elf.

Searching the upper rooms we find a nearly dead ancient dwarf, named Brightshield.  He told the story of the destruction of the city.  
Appearently the one responsible has been raising all the dead, and is still in here on the far side of the city.  Rurik vows to 'Avenge 
them' and the old dwarf seemed pleased at that as he then died. 

After a small search we finally found a section of the city that contained the landmark we were looking for, that would eventually lead 
us to guy causing all of the undead creatures in the city.  We we entered the room however, we were assailed by numerous tentatcles out 
of the water. Rurik, managed some bit of magic from Brightshield to save most of the party.  The battle claimed the lives of Lochinvar and 
Sy'Rel, and nearly those of Za'Rin and Jallarza.  The group then retreated to town, tail between their legs. 

While in town Loran was granted a vision from Pelor and was given a quest that the rest of us decided to aid him.  The party accquired a
a couple of new members as well.  An assistant to the Librarian named Dar'Lok, and a elven woman, Nia with a Coyote companion, Akela.

(Date of Session 5/16 and 5/30)
Thus far the quest has lead them north to another village named Crimson Moor on the southern slopes of the Grand Mountains, where they 
prepare themselves to search for artifact in Loran's vision. A short journey later, the group finds an entrance to a dungeon with a 
carving of a lion with spiked tail and spread wings.

They have begun to search the underground complex. They met with a few others in the complex but have not made that many new friends. 
There was a group of Dwarves, and a human named Vesker, who seems quite nervous of them.  Jallarza, was slain in the complex, after having
wandered off on her own.

They continued to explore through natural caverns until finding a book describing items and possible hiding locations for them.  None of 
them is the artifact Loran is searching for.  One of the locations mentioned was tombs, so they headed back towards the entrance to 
rummage through tombs near the entrance.

Krull recovers the body of Jallarza the drow, before they leave the underground complex headed back to town.  He buries her, out side in 
the complex.  They notice that thier mounts are missing.  Nia follows the tracks and leads the group up into the hills to the campo of the
bandits on the top of a hill.  The group assults the hill, and easily dispatches with the 9 humans in the camp, but runs into trouble, when
a giant exits the cave on the top of the hill.  A battle of survival ensues for about a minute, and then the group flees dragging the 
dead of of the party Akela and Rurik (taken out in massive overhand smash), on the horses.  Nia carries Akela away in the forest and 
vanishes.  The other members bury Rurik, and Loran is beset with grief. 

(Date of Session 7/4 to 7/11)
The following morning, after a brief discussion they head back to Crimson Moor to resupply.  Some of the treasure is sold off, and new
members are recruited. Bosh Underwood, a paladin of St.Cuthbert, looking to avenge a slain alcolyte. The other two new members is a pair 
of humans. Abbey a female ranger and her traveling companion, Jedson.

The check out a couple of the nearer vacant areas on Za`Rin's map.  The group does find a large spider which is quickly dispatched protecting 
a pair of barrels, and a dead goblin. A bit later, a small wooden carving of an animal with goblin runes on it.  A brief period of 
puzzlement occurs as they have not encountered goblins in the complex.  Pushing on... they end up in a larger natural cavern with a rotting 
smell to their south, but notice a pair of dead ogres to the north with a couple of cairns next to them.  

They meet one of the dwarves, from the earlier meeting again, who claims repsonsiblity  for the dead ogres.  He requests some food, which 
the party barters for safe passage.  Both groups say that they will keep an eye out for the others respective artifacts they are looking for.   

Continuing on they find some dead centipedes in a circular room and then head south and end up in a large chamber, and quickly dispatch with 
a dozen skeletons.

(Date of Session 7/25 to 8/8)
The party continues to explore south, finding a dented gong, small fungi, and a decaying corpse. along with a set of downwards stairs south. 
Through the stairs is a circular room with a collapsed wall on the south side. 3 exits show the bottoms of a brass portcullis.  Pressing 
onward the group dispatchs with some more purple fungi with waving tentacles. Still headed south through a narrow passage they find a small
pool with some white crystals in it. Another room is covered in clay...while exploring this room Za`Rin disturbs a warren of large rats and 
they swarm over Za`Rin and the group.  After a vicious battle the rats are slain, and group retreats to recover.

After resting, Za'Rin and Jedson start coming down with a fever, and most of the rest of the group bearing wounds from thier previous 
encounters press onward, bypassing a large yellow worm with tentacles but later encounter a hungary Rust Monster, which Jedson single handed 
slays. More searching yeilds a staircase downward, which the party follows. They bypass the first landing and continue to the bottom. 
Exploring this level they encounter some ghouls and a ghast in some locked cells.
