I've had a passion for good knives all of my life, and for the past twenty-plus years, I have been putting out quality knives of my own worldwide. Born and raised in Albany Georgia, I had the privilege of spending a lot of time with my grandfather at the "Blacksmith Shop". It was there he gave me my very first lessons in knife making. I was eleven years old when I made my first knife. That kindled a new fire in me that never went out. I made a few more knives along the way, but didn't get serious about it until 1979. That's when I left Georgia and moved to Alaska where I met prominent knife maker, Ron Isaacs. He took me under his wing and showed me how to make a marvelous custom knife. Later that year, I sold my first knife in Kenai, Alaska and have been making and selling knives ever since.

My knives are well known in these parts for their ability to survive the most rugged and extreme conditions imaginable. I make a full range of traditional working straight knives, and an occasional folder as well. I also make a full line of Tactical knives, Fillet knives, and a few Kitchen knives. Each knife, excluding the Fillet and Kitchen knives, comes with its own hand fitted, heavy-duty, leather sheath. All my knives are made of the finest quality materials available. I am currently using CPM 154 stainless, CPM s3v carbon and CPM D-2 steel for the blades. All blades are sent to Paul Bos for heat-treating and are 100 % cryogenically frozen. I custom make all "Exotic Wood" handles from a special selection of the highest quality woods available. I can make any design shown on the various knife pages or make a custom knife from a design of your own.

Sincerely,
Thomas A. Broome, Maker
