                  | Guild Charter Caelum Aestus exists primarily as an online community of friends who share a liking of online role-playing games. It's earliest origins only extend as far back as Everquest, where the "guild", as it was then, had enjoyed a period of much success. Unfortunately this eventually came to an end, mostly due to an aging game environment, and a dying interest coming from the leadership. This brought in a transformation, from an ordinary Everquest guild, to the online community as it stands now. Unfortunately, in this state, we are currently without a base environment, and member activity is quite stale compared to the days of Everquest, but there is hope that a new game will provide us with such. At this time, that game will most likely (highly, extremely probable) be Blizzard's World of Warcraft, but nothing is written in stone.
For a reference of how we exist as a guild within a game, the following charter is provided:
ARTICLE 01A:
- Those'eth who we shall call'eth members of Caelum Aestus adhere to a strict code of binary concitulations formed on a basis of strong Gemstonianism, as which were the roots lie in the most ancient'eth order of Caelum Aestus. A good sense of humour is to be carried at all times with the member.
- We'eth of Caelum Aestus are not greedy individuals, never shall a member of Caelum Aestus steal away the chance to obtain an item that clearly belongs to their like, to the best of that members judgement. For instance'eth, a warrior will not be running away with a Wand of Ultimate Mystical Sorcery, when there obviously is a person in the group that could obviously use.
- Caelum Aestus'eth members are very laid-back folk, and we do not like drama, please don't bring dirty laundry onto the Caelum Aestus door-step.
ARTICLE 02B:- Dating back to the mostest earliest days'eth of Caelum Aestus, never ever had there been any mandatory activity within the order. Nothing EVER is to be required of members, this is a game, we're here to have fun... if you happen to be interested in having fun at the time.
- When a decent raiding environment is provided by the game in question, and with sufficient member interest, raiding is certainly not out of the question. However, this guild will never take "raiding" or "progression" as a focus. Guild events will likely be kept at a once per week maximum, with an allowance for possibly two if the interest is there. It should be mentioned again, this guild is based highly on a relaxed atmosphere, you will never be required to attend any guild events or raids, nor receive any ill attention for not doing so. You are encouraged to come if you wish to, simply because these are meant to be enjoyable.
- Truan/Cyraen is, and will forever remain, a sexy bitch.
ARTICLE 03C: - There is no true existing hierarchy within the guild; while there are three different member classifications: member, officer and leader, all of them have an equal say in the happenings of the guild. Any issue of major importance is typically open for all members to view and voice their opinions on for the leader to see, and after a sufficient amount of time has passed, a judgment will be made by the leader, usually leaning in favor of the majority opinion, so long as it is proven as beneficial for the guild. The majority can be over-ruled by the leader's decision.
- Officers within the guild do not receive any benefits over any other member, and simply act as a means for providing guild invitations. Extra responsibility beyond this role is not required by any means.
