The Problem: Pedestrians being killed trying to cross the Highway 200 bridge where there was scant inches between them and traffic.
The Solution: The focus of many fundraisers and countless hours of volunteer efforts, This bridge was completed in early 2004.

No surprise here...
Yet another activity organized by Vicky & Bob. This time a group of Jaltemba Bay's finest folk decend on a small Nayarit village and spread some Christmas cheer.
The group of volunteers spent an afteroon serving grilled goodies (thanks Dicksons) and had a huge spread of clothes laid out, sorted for sex and age, as well as toys for all the area tots. Thanks to everyone for donation toys, cash and clothes. Something similar is in the planning stages for this year..... inquire!

Happy students show off their new pencils.

Many visitors to the Jaltemba Bay Area take matters into their own hands, delivering school supplies to local schools. It is a rewarding and fun experience.
