Car
Wash this Saturday, June 8th, from 1-4. Dress appropriately. Will
be having the car wash rain or shine.

Summertime
Activities are scheduled. Each scout
needs to do one per month to earn the Summertime Awards patch.
June
8th-Car Wash
June
29th & 30th-Air Show. Tigers, Wolves, & Bears on Saturday. Webelos I & II on Sunday.
July
13th-Swimming Belt Loop and/or Pin.
Ft. Rich swimming pool. From
6-8pm.
July
22nd-26th-Camp Carlquist
August
10th- Scout Hut (by Horse Stables) clean-up. It will just be the cub scouts this day
since the boy scouts will be at camp.
The boy scouts will be out on August 3rd to do clean-up and
if you can make this date instead of the 10th, this will count for
Summertime Award patch.
September
14th-Fishing Derby. Time and
Place TBA.
June
14th is the Flag Retirement Ceremony. It will be at noon at the Heritage Park (Eagle Cage). Bring flags to either the Scout Hut or
Transportation Squadron Secretary by June 13th.
Back
to School flyers ordered for this fall.
All three schools on base will have a back-to-school night this
September.
Let
John Rausch know of any parents who are going above and beyond to help out your
den. The base has a Volunteer Banquet
in the Spring and we would like to nominate these individuals for awards.
Early
July (after 4th weekend), we will have a camp meeting for the
parents in the break room at the TRANS building (break room on main
floor). This meeting will let the
parents know what to expect and what to bring.
More information coming.
If
you would like more camp t-shirts, let John know. He is going out the first week and can purchase them for
you. Youth Large and Adult Large are $7
each; and Adult XL and bigger are $10.
Email
Robin with a list of boys who are PCSing this summer. She needs the information to take the boys off the insurance.
Next
den leader’s meeting will be at the end of August. Details coming.
