August Den Leader’s Meeting

 

Present:  Tim Nelson, Nicole Robins, John Rausch, Pat Robins, Lee Walling, Rob Hill

 

Clean up on August 10, 2002.  Will have the building till April 2003.  Webelos can earn achievements/electives this Saturday by helping.  John Rausch is donating a ping pong table.  Will be hanging cabinets (donated by Aurora Housing).  If you have power tools, please bring!  Will be cleaning out every area.  Bring yard tools, wear old clothes.  Individuals dens will be setting up areas to eat.  Time for this is set for 10-2.

 

Areas where we may be moving to are:  Building in front of the Youth Center (Day Care Loan Library)-will have to share with the Girl Scouts;  Log Cabin owned by AAFES; Air Patrol Building on 6 Mile Lake (no running water).

 

September Pack Meeting-Fishing Derby is set for September 14^th, at Otter Lake.  9-noon, bring your own BBQ.

 

Dens need to start having meetings in September.  Day of Round-Up, wear uniform to school.  Recruit adult leaders also that evening.

 

New Leadership Training is slated for October 19^th.  This is an all day event.  There will also be a date in November and also January.

 

Public Affairs position is now filled by Mrs. T. Hallwood.  Still need a Committee Chairman.

 

Next meeting is on September 8^th, 2002 at 8pm at the Transportation Squadron.
