Network Administrator Safe City Program -

Information Technician I-  Provided hardware and software support with Intel based PCs 386 to Pentiums in Windows 3.11, Win95 and NT workstations.  Received new PCs install OS to Win95 or NT connect to network and install software as needed for users.  Solve problems related to hardware or software at all bank branches and offices.  Provide user support in software and hardware.

Received Bachelor of Business Administration, Management Information Systems degree from University of Alaska Anchorage May 1997 . Currently enrolled in Rapid Application Development and Advanced Networking classes.

PC install team member. Receive new desk top PCs. Installed new PC with software as needed, complete Windows 95 OS, configured for network connectivity to NT server. Configured users to MSExchange, and network printers. Solved problems as encountered in setup.

IS team Member. Responsible for receiving equipment for new point of sales (POS) system, configuring and testing. Assemble bush store office PCs with tape backup, modems, laser printer, and operating system. Assemble POS PC with Digi communication to registers, terminals, modems, and printers. Install and test Pick operating system for POS.

Worked as Computer Lab Consultant assisting students and faculty with PC and software problems in the School of Business Computer Labs. Help maintain software, did minor repairs to computers, network, and printers.

Worked at CaTS Help Desk. Answered incoming calls about software, hardware and network problems that students and faculty encountered with the UAA computing network. Provided solutions to problems or pass the job on to the appropriate personnel for solutions. Worked in UAA open computer labs assisting students and faculty with software questions and problems. Helped maintain software in labs and performed minor repairs to computers and printers.

School District Maintenance Director for six school sites within the Aleutians East Borough. Develop and organize maintenance and construction in every aspect of remodeling or repairs for six school sites. Set up a Macintosh computer networking system between the six different sites and the central administrative office (WAN & LAN). Responsible repairs and personal PC support at Sand Point school and administrative office. Responsible for purchasing all maintenance and repair materials and equipment. State school bus instructor and asbestos manager/planner for the district. Instillation and maintenance of Jacobs Windmill system.

Installation and repair of office equipment and computer equipment. Set up numerous offices in the Aleutians East district with computer equipment and software. Trouble shoot for all problems encountered by clients. Organized and installed networking software and equipment in several organizations. General construction and maintenance. Computers: For the past 10 years I have worked with and have acquired thorough knowledge of the Apple computer. I have invested in a great deal of software and hardware. I enjoy computers and spend many, many hours learning new techniques and concepts. I read extensively about computers and their capabilities and keep up on the latest developments.
