Inappropriate Elimination

When a cat urinates outside its litter pan, humans label the behavior inappropriate, but the cat considers the act entirely logical and proper.  Many factors contribute to this behavior.  Failure to examine the cat's perspective may exacerbate the problem and prevent a satisfactory solution.

The Periuria Questionnaire raises some of the issues contributing to unfortunate urine placement.  A solution to your cat's problem may be suggested simply by reviewing the questions.  If you schedule a home visit to address your cat's elimination habits, please print and complete the questionnaire before your appointment.
