I LOVE MY BIKES!

. . . . MOUNTAIN . . . .

Ross Signature "Mt. McKinley". I've had this bike since 94. It's had just about everything replaced at least once. Rims more than once, but XT hubs have performed great for years. It weighs 25 lbs and has been over 15,000 miles with me. It rides and performs great. Aluminum and stainless frame, Halson inverted fork, Richey rims and bars and seatpost and misc., XT, RaceFace and ESP-9.

K2 Mod 5; My Favorite bike . . . I put about three thousand miles on it each summer. It is a super sweet ride. Aluminum with carbon fiber fork and seat stays, Dura-Ace sti shifters, deraileurs, crank, brakes; Mavic Ksyrium wheelset. 17.5 lbs.



I really love riding my bikes here in Alaska. The long hours of daylight in the summer and mild summer temperatures make Anchorage a great place to ride. I love to talk about bikes, do maintenance on my bikes, read about cycling, and of course RIDE. I put in about 120 to 160 miles each week in the summer riding mostly on ANCHORAGE'S BIKE TRAILS, and on our OUTDOOR REC CENTER RIDES. We do a group mountain bike ride every Thursday evening and road bike rides on Monday evenings in the summer from the Outdoor Rec Center at Elmendorf AFB. We have an informal riding group called O.R.C.A. (Outdoor Rec Cycling Association). You'll find some info about that below. I'm always looking for someone to ride with so e-mail me if you're interested.

ORC / O.R.C.A. TRAINING RIDES

I'm the ride leader for the Outdoor Rec Center (ORC) on Elmendorf. We do ORC Rides every Thursday and Monday and a couple of Saturday Trail Rides each month. Click Here for More Information.
