VI        Of Memories Past and Future

  iThree parts of mind

1)

The mind of an entity, while in the physical plane, exists in three parts that could be described as "Light," "Twilight" and "Darkness."

2)

The mind of "Light" (Superconsciousness) is the superior part of an entity's mind.

3)

It knows the total of the entity's past, has access to its future and knows the reason for the current incarnation.

4)

The mind of "Twilight" (Subconsciousness) is a computing mind.

5)

It processes and stores knowledge that it receives from the two other parts of mind to be utilized as it is needed.

6)

It also controls the entity's physical body when its conscious mind is unable to or is not needed for such control.

7)

The mind of "Darkness" (Consciousness) is responsible for observing and making decisions in the entity's daily experience.

8)

It chooses right and wrong and the results of its decisions and observations are imparted to its subconscious mind.

  iiHow soon they forget

1)

Upon an entity's incarnation into the physical plane its memory of its past history is blocked from both its conscious and subconscious mind.

2)

The purpose of the loss of memory is to prevent the entity from dwelling on its past which might prevent it from being able to fully experience its current situation.

3)

Although blocked from conscious mind, some aspects of an entity's past or future may be made available to its subconscious mind from time to time.

4)

The subconscious mind may attempt to impart some of its knowledge to the conscious mind through the channels of dreams or flashes of inspiration.

  iiiDreams to live by

1)

There are many types and reasons for dreams. Some are for stimulation or relaxation of parts of the body while others may portray past and future events or motives.

2)

The main opportunity the subconscious mind has to communicate its conclusions or suggestions to the conscious mind is through dreaming.

3)

The purpose in portraying the past is that it gives the conscious mind an opportunity to evaluate its actions and conclusions.

4)

The reason for foretelling the future is to prepare the entity's conscious mind for possible future occurrences in order that it may have an opportunity, if necessary, to alter its path.

5)

The ability of the subconscious to communicate with the conscious mind is increased in proportion to the amount of recognition that the conscious mind gives to the subconscious.
