
William Wailand received his A.B. from Harvard University (2002, magna cum laude) and his J.D. from New York University School of Law (2006, magna cum laude). At New York University, Mr. Wailand served as notes editor for the law review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
Following law school, Mr. Wailand clerked for the Honorable Richard J. Holwell, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York (2006-2007) and worked as a litigation associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York, New York (2007-2009). While at Debevoise, he participated on diverse cases related to environmental liability, federal administrative law, securities fraud, antitrust violations, contract disputes, and trademark infringement. He also managed the trademark portfolios of several domestic and international companies.
Prior to joining Feldman Orlansky & Sanders, Mr. Wailand clerked for Justice Dana A. Fabe of the Alaska Supreme Court (2009-2010). He is admitted to practice in Alaska, and previously was admitted in New York.
