One of the most successful and famous sport fisheries for "barn door" Halibut occurs in the salt water off the tip of the Kenai Peninsula.

From May through September we can put you on a boat out of Homer, Ninilchik, or Seward where you will have a chance to see glaciers, whales and a variety of marine birds over a 12 hour period. Of course you will have the opportunity to land 2 nice Halibut. In an area where 100 pounders are are common! What a thrill it is to hook into one of these beasts and see it rising from the deep clear water, getting bigger and bigger as you crank it in - not always an easy task!
