In this photo, 4" ABS pipe has been installed in the first 10' of the trench, then a 45° elbow and a rubber connector joins it to 12' of 4" HDPE perforated drain tile.
The area occupied by the drain tile is lined with Typar geotextile fabric and filled with 5/8" crushed rock 6" deep. The Typar will keep adjacent mud from clogging the spaces between the crushed rock.
