Kris is about ready to ride a zipline into the rain forest. A zipline span consists of two separate cables with a working strength of 1500 pounds. The cables span 40' to 400' between very large trees and most spans are about 90' above the forest floor. Kris and I wore a climbing harness that attached to both cables through two separate paths and two separate pulleys.
