It's always fun to learn with a group.  We suggest 40 people or less, per seminar, for maximum learning potential.  

One Health Expense Accounting Ledger (HEAL)© is usually sufficient to meet the needs of a family.  For a person who has a family member with a chronic or debilitating health condition, one tracking system should be used for that person and another for the rest of the family.  The program includes attendance for up to 2 people per seminar and one HEAL©.  Additional HEAL's can be purchased after the seminar, if needed.  In 3 hours you depart with the knowledge and tools you need to manage your healthcare finances throughout your lifetime.    

In the first part of the seminar participants hear about the history of medical delivery in the United States and why it feels so complex today.  You are introduced to definitions and concepts that affect "purchasing" medical services and "payment" for them in our current system.  This base of knowledge will prepare you to begin customizing your own Health Expense Accounting Ledger (HEAL)©, which we will accomplish in the second half of the program.  

The second session teaches individuals or couples to "plug in" personal medical expenses and reimbursements, from any third party, including Medicare, into your personal Health Expense Accounting Ledger (HEAL)©.  This allows a structured way to follow your billings as they move through the healthcare reimbursement maze.  

By the end of the seminar, you will have made the first entries in your own, customized Health Expense Accounting Ledger (HEAL)© and have learned a technique with materials you can take home and use consistently, even if your present health plan situation changes at a later time.  

The system is especially useful to the Medicare covered population, or those surviving a chronic or acute medical condition, who are faced with complicated financial issues when purchasing medical services.  

There’s no "big talk" in the seminar, just down-home definitions you need, with terms you can understand, so you leave the program as informed medical consumers, armed with personal knowledge to lessen one of life’s biggest stresses.
