Holy Spirit’s outreach
participates in the
community’s Food Pantry. Currently the Presbyterian Church in Eagle
River provides space for the Food bank.
The basket in the entryway is
available to drop food pantry donations. While all donations are
gratefully accepted, there is a particular need for peanut butter,
jelly, tuna fish, cereals (hot or cold), and juices.

The United Thank Offering invites us to first
to offer our prayers of thanks to God and then to give tangible thanks
for His blessings in the form of coins or bills. This money is an
offering, not a donation. Holy Spirit collects UTO "Blue Box"
offerings twice a year.
The 1889 General Convention of the Episcopal
Church, U.S.A. established the United Offering (now the United Thank
Offering). Churches in Alaska and even Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in
Eagle River have been the beneficiaries of UTO grants.
