It is your Cabin on the Lake! For about the cost of a boring Hotel room you can make yourself at home right on the water. ..the view will be fabulous. The "Comfort" can comfortably accommodate up to 8 persons for overnight stays. The houseboat is equipped with everything you need ! Take a look at the spacious interior photos and description. Many guests use the "Comfort" as their Alaska home base. During the day, they travel to see the sights and return in the evening for R&R. Many day trips in the area will keep you as busy as you want to be. We will be glad to help you with your sightseeing excursions. The weekdays (Monday through Friday) are the best time to stay on the houseboat. We are located in the Mat-Su Valley, which is about an hour drive North of Anchorage. Big Lake is a convenient stopover for those traveling to Denali National Park. Salmon fishing is a favorite pastime in nearby streams . Flight seeing, and Fly out Hunting and Fishing Trips are also available from local air services. Our houseboat is a great place to hang out while others in the party hunt and fish! Information about hunting, and fishing is available on our Links Page Relax in the Hot Tub on the top deck, enjoy the Eagles, Grebes, and Loons as they entertain you with their nesting rituals. Enjoy the beautiful Alaskan Sunset as you prepare a meal of freshly caught Salmon or Trout in the well-equipped Galley. A Dinghy and outboard motor are available for you to cruise the lake, go out to dinner at some of the great lodges, or get in some Trout fishing. |
