Rental PoliciesSeason: May 15 until Sept 15. Deposit and PaymentsAll we need to reserve your date is a $100 deposit. After receiving your deposit, we will place your rental dates and party particulars on our Availability calendar. Deposits will be refunded, less a $50 cancellation fee if cancellation is received at least 10 days prior to your departure date. If you cancel in less than 10 days of departure date, we cannot refund your deposit. Deposits can be made by mailing a personal check to BLHR., P.O. Box 520270, Big Lake, AK 99652. When we receive your deposit, we will reserve that date on the Availability Calendar. In addition, you will receive an e-mail confirmation including acknowledgment of payment and dates of rental. Your party will be listed on our Calendar web page. The deposit will serve as a security deposit and will be refunded when the houseboat is returned on time and in good order. Payment. Full payment must be made at the time of your departure. Payment may be made by Cash, or by personal/business checks.
On-Line Pay Pal Payments...easier and faster! Payment with credit cards can be made on line with Pay Pal. Use our e mail address houseboats@gci.net for payment.
Lost Running Time. The renter assumes full responsibility for any loss in running time. We are not responsible for time lost due to personal changes in plans, illness, accidents or any other circumstances. In the case of adverse weather, we will consider each case individually....we would never want you to go out in bad weather and in most cases will reschedule your party.
