JEA Members Lose Home to Fire
As many of you already have heard, a tragedy struck one of our teaching families. Sue Skiman Jones (Auke Bay) and Devon Jones (DZ) lost their home this past Sunday, March 15th to fire. The family is fine, but the material damage is great. Lori Hoover, at Auke Bay, is currently spear-heading a fund-raising effort for the family.
JEA has donated $1 per member to this fund.....$400 total. It is the hope of JEA that all of our members will add $4 to that amount, and bring the total amount to $2,000. Donations may be sent to Lori Hoover at Auke Bay Elementary School.
