| Richard and his JEA-member wife Luann McVey and teenage daughters Lydia and Laura returned to Juneau in summer 2005 after two years in Thailand. Richard has been active in JEA since 1996 and has held several posts. He is teaching a new class, news production at JDHS as well as four sections of English. He's enjoying his year as JEA Past President. | |||||

| Dixie taught and supervised speech-language therapy in Montana until 1988 when she moved to Juneau. She has taught at Harborview, Auke Bay, Mendenhall River, Riverbend, and JDHS. She has been secretary of JEA since the fall of 1995. She served two years on the NEA-Alaska Health Trust. | |||||

| Kevin Hamrick has been teaching business and finance at JDHS since 1997. Prior to that he taught in the rural village of Chevak for two years and was an aide at the high school in the early 90's. He has coached wrestling and is currently the assistant coach for football and track. He became active in the Juneau Education Association the first day of his contract and chaired the Negotiations Committee for 1999-2000 and filled in for the President-elect. | |||||

Mike has taught at the elementary, middle and high school levels and served on the bargaining team during our last round of bargaining. |
