The Scottish Rite Temple, a four-story concrete structure, has anchored the corner of Fourth and Seward since 1928. It furnishes a lodge room, ballroom and dining room for a number of Masonic and related groups, as well as some non-profit organizations serving the Juneau community, including a Masonic Lodge, an Eastern Star Chapter, four Scottish Rite Bodies, Juneau Assembly of Rainbow Girls, and Juneau Dance Unlimited. It also has 3 offices it rents out.
The original dedication was held December 15, 1928.
The Scottish Rite Lodge of Perfection holds its Monthly meetings on the 2nd Friday of each Month, except June, July, and August, when the Lodge of Perfection goes dark for the summer.
Our Masonic Museum is open. All Items have been donated by Brethren. The Museum is located on the corner of 4th & Seward Street in the Scottish Rite Building.
