Unleash a storm of fun — "Blizzard" is a strapping young lad, about 1 year, with medium fur and flamepoint markings. His unusual looks — bright white soft fur and subtle orange markings — make him a show stopper, but he also has a friendly and fun personality. Blizzard is neutered and has his kitten shots. Who says black has to be basic? — This spayed female, "Midnight," is the good-natured, affectionate roommate of Blizzard at right. They'd make a great ebony & ivory pair or will home separately. She is microchipped and great with other cats and dogs. Contact Susan, 841-7711.
Looking for equal opportunity — It's not easy being a black kitten. This gal is hoping someone won't be prejudiced by her lack of stripes or a bright color. Don't hate me because I'm beautiful — "Minerva," the muted tabby/calico medium-hair at left, has an unusual coat. She will be spayed soon and homed as soon as her kittens are homed in mid August. Exotic lady — This sealpoint exotic female, "Banou," which means lady in Persian, is 1 to 2 years old. She's got strikingly blue eyes in her distinctive Persian face, and the markings of a sealpoint. That may sound confusing but it works on her. She's just been spayed and is ready to take up residence in your home. Contact Susan at 841-7711.
Sophisticated Stripes — Santino, an orange tabby and white fellow, is about 5 months old. He and his sister (who has been rehomed) were adopted by a couple who found out they (the people, not the kittens) would be dealing with a serious medical issue for some time, so they came back for rehoming. Just looking for a warm home — "Katie" is really personable white-based calico cat. She is very loving, purrs a lot, likes to head butt and nuzzle. She was living outside on her own for quite a while and seems grateful for a warm new home. She is probably a few years old, spayed and has been dewormed. Contact Mat Valley Kitties Rescue
Mat Valley Kitties Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that attempts to find homes for kittens in the Mat-Su Borough and portions of the Anchorage area. It depends on the aid of volunteers and donations to do this important rescue work. It receives no government funding.
