Mat Valley Kitties' adoptive families share their stories
Migsy and Piper, siblings adopted by neighbors, enjoy some roughhousing in one of their new homes.
Susan,
I just wanted to thank you for your help yesterday at the Pet Zoo. Piper as he is now called adjusted well to his new home. It took him a little bit to explore and check things out a bit. Last night he slept curled up on my pillow next to my head all night. And he his eating well and already using the litter box. He is adjusting quiet well.
This morning he and Migsy his sister from next door had a very long and exhausting play date. After it was all said and done he was ready for a nap. It was amazing to see the two of them interact. Attached to this e-mail are a couple of pictures for you.
Thank you,
The Masony Family

Cricket is very spoiled in our home; she is a splash of color amongst our Siamese. They took her in like some little gnome foundling, it is as if she is THEIR baby and not ours.
She remains petite in size and has soft silky fur. She likes to race through the house at top speed and when she gets to where she was headed she just falls down in all her glorious furriness and lies there to have her belly rubbed. I'm not actually sure how we would get along without her!
Sometimes we call her Biscuit because of course she likes to make them!

I just thought you might like an update on the kitty we adopted from you. Leaf (so named because he trembled) has been with us for a month now, and is just a doll! He is wonderful with us, his humans, but he is still adjusting to the four-legged family. It has been a month now, and while he and lyric (our other cat) are still a bit hissy, they are definately making progress! now, at least, they can be in the same room without her growling, or him chasing her. And he is such a funny little dude! He loooooves to play. He'll fetch, and chase the laser pointer for hours! and he is very very vocal! He will follow me around the house meowing. He lets me know when he wants love, when he is out of food, when he's used the box, when the dog his looking at him funny.... he is constantly talking! We absolutely adore our leafy-cat, and are greatful we were able to give him a furever home.

thank you so much,
nikki
