The Family Caregiver Support Program provides support and respite to caregivers by assisting with information, resources and training to make caring for elderly loved ones easier. Through FCSP, caregivers can receive respite services so they may take a break from their caregiving duties. They may also attend training, access links to local services, such as Lifeline and assisted living, and help family members identify senior programs here, in other states, or in other countries.

FCSP will be hosting the Aging Connection Conference on March 1 and 2, 2008. This senior service fair will be held at the Senior Center. The conference is open to anyone over 18 years of age. Admission is free. Click here for Conference Information.

The Senior In Home Services Program offers Chore Service and Care Coordination to seniors who are NOT eligible for the Medicaid Choice Waiver. Care Coordinaton assists persons in gaining access to needed medical, social, and educational services. Chore servcie provides eligible seniors with housekeeping and assistance to maintain the senior's home in a clean and safe environment. Chore service workers can assist with all activiites of daily living, including, but not limited to the below list.
