Adoption Fees:

Dog: $40 plus $10 license

Puppies: $125

Cats: $40

Kittens: $85 (male) and $125 (female)

Rabbits: $25.00

Impound Fees - to be paid at the police station

City Impound - 1st offense - $25; 2nd - $50; 3rd - $75; 4th - $125

Borough Impound - 1st offense - $50; 2nd - $75; 3rd - $125; 4th - $125

Dog License - Required before release of impounded dog, paid at police station

$10.00 spayed/neutered dog

$35.00 unspayed/unneutered dog

Deposit for release of impounded dog for lacking current rabies vaccination -

$20.00 paid at police station, refundable upon proof of rabies immunization within 7 days.

Impound Boarding Fee -

$5.00 per day, paid at shelter

Spay/Neuter Agreement for Impounded Dogs

The owner of an impounded dog can receive a refund of

(1) impound fee,

(2) rabies deposit.
