The Humane Society of Kodiak is proud to be part of the Very Best Pet Network (sponsored by Wal Mart, American Humane Association & Purina), a national effort to save pets' lives for the past 4 years.  Look for our Very Best Pet Bulletin board in the petfood aisle in our Kodiak Wal Mart store.  Each week we update the board with pictures of animals available for adoption at the Kodiak Animal shelter as well as interesting and educational pet information.  Don't forget to stop in at Wal Mart and take a look at the new board. With our second Very Best Pet Network grant we were able to design and have made our new Animal shelter Building sign and street sign.  With the new signs, we hoped to encourage more people to stop and visit our shelter, thereby increasing the chances of more animals finding homes.
