Shelter Hours are Tuesday thru Friday, 12noon to 6 pm and Saturday, 12 noon to 5pm, closed to the public on Sunday & Monday. This website is normally updated at least once a week.

11th Annual Humane Society Kodiak Dog Trot coming up Saturday, May 10, 2008!! Start at East Elementary. 10:00-10:30 a.m. - Registration; 10:30 a.m. - Dog Trol Begins! $10 Entry Fee to benefit the Humane Society of Kodiak and the Animal Shelter. Registration includes a Doggie Bandana & Drawings for prizes. Course is 2.1 miles long. Under 19 must have parental supervision or signed waiver form. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A COLLAR AND LEASH!!
