Marx Bros at the Anchorage Museum Welcomes New Chef

Naomi Everett, a former Sous Chef at The Marx Bros Café has returned to Alaska and taken the helm as the Executive Chef of the Marx Bros Catering and Museum Café.. Naomi was born and raised in Anchorage and graduated from The University of Alaska, Anchorage Culinary Arts Department in 2000. After graduation she worked at the Marx Bros Café, where she impressed us with her talent and skill. She left Marx Bros and spent time honing her culinary skills in Italy. She returned to the US and moved to New Orleans where she worked under Chef Susan Spicer at Bayona. Next, she went to New Mexico where she assisted in opening Kokopelli’s Restaurant and Cantina as Sous Chef.

Wanting to return to Alaska, she eagerly accepted the position of Head Chef at the Anchorage Museum. Naomi is a vivacious spirit whose culinary passion is evident in her work. The Marx Bros. Café at the Anchorage Museum offers a newly revised menu and creative new daily specials sheet that have surprised everyone. Naomi has already impressed everyone with her amazing performance during a very busy Christmas catering season.
