| Juneau Chapter #7 Order Of The
Eastern Star
was organized in December, 1913. The Chapter was chartered on April
1914.
They meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, accept in June when they only meet
the 2nd Tuesday. They go dark for the 4th Tuesday in June, both
meetings
in July, and August, and only meet on the 2nd Tuesday in December, when
they hold election of officers, Christmas Party, and exchange gifts.
In December 1995, Douglas, Alaska's Nugget Chapter #2, OES, elected to merge with the Juneau Chapter #7, so there is now only one Chapter in the Juneau-Douglas area. Below is a list of all past Matrons and Patrons of both chapters. |
